I bet if Yamada or me would get isekai'd we'd be only in maxed out(including cosmetic things) characters(of any gender,size,race,class etc.) from the games we played.

This is a slow-burn kind of romance where they go from strangers to friends and from there on there is development, so you might have to give it a bit more than 3 episodes for their relationship to change however if you stay for it i'm sure you will enjoy it. Also Yamada is in my opinion far better ML for this kind of show than Voldigoad and other simpin MCs.
Trying not to spoil too much but once Yamada starts to change he will be a great change from most ML in romance or harem shows.

Oh, this is happy news. I'm enjoying some good slowburns for characters like them. Their reactions and interactions as they get to know each other are fun and make this a relaxing watch.

Well,Anos Voldigouda is a good MC cause he is not simp,like if female will try to hit him he will just fight back,not like those simp MC's(example: Megami no Cafe Terrace from current season anime).
People tried to point me a good MC,but i just didnt liked their idea of "good MC",it was way different from what i liked every single time.
And i never differ from what i like,though whatever i like might change based only on myself.

Well,that perfection in itself is contradictory to west and in comparison to west he is what i like to see. He isnt exactly self insert'ish unless you can pull off miracles from the brink of death however the comebacks he serves are always golden and his "dream like" clutches are enjoyable to watch too.
Working for big tech/big corp does stop you from sharing your opinions because they can fire you for what you write in social media,ask: disney,discord,youtube,twitch,FBI etc. Since all their employees say "we cant say that without getting fired,what about my job!". What do i like in MC?
There's plenty of that,but i usually like something among these lines:
"Female: hey,simp for me like these suckers\\MC: No,screw off,i'm busy doing my thing."
MC have enough guts to exact the revenge.

If harem anime:
MC treats his harem well but doesnt simp.
If fantasy:
MC is as powerfull as my characters i played in games.
MC owns relatable skills.
MC doesnt call his skills "cheats" and uses them properly.
If ecchi:
MC clearly looks and sees ecchi but doesnt budge or doesnt go with random nosebleeds and sheet like that.
MC can softly tease girls romantically in a comedical way without being instantly labeled pervert.
There are several more things i like but i would need to remember them to point em out

eh no it definitely is self insert. self insert is basically meant to be when you see a character that basically has no personality and is somewhat relatable so you project an image of yourself onto the character. pulling off miracle level feats doesn't stop it from being a self insert, it just makes it less realistic, which isn't necessarily a bad thing in most cases, but in this case it just kind of plays into the watcher's fantasy. He is a very shitty mc, no real character he's just op. also just because he's not as bad as some of the mcs from other anime, it doesn't mean he's not bottom tier. if the average isekai protag is bottom of the barrel, then he's like on the side of the barrel but really close to the bottom. also for this anime. yamada isn't the mc akane is

Not a manga reader, but from his behaviour he's a lot like Miyamura from Horimiya. He's single minded about his own interests, is somewhat aloof, but not uncaring...he simply needs irl experience and he can adjust well enough to his environment.
